Cookie Policy
Last updated: July 10, 2026
This page explains what we store in your browser when you use isitlanding.
1. Short version
We do not use tracking cookies. We store one anonymous identifier in your browser's localStorage so we can group the audits you run without asking you to sign up. That's it.
2. What we actually store
2.1 localStorage — session ID
| Name | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
isitlanding_session_id | Random anonymous identifier so your audits can be listed together. Not linked to your identity. | Until you clear browser data |
2.2 sessionStorage — pending audit URL
While an audit is loading, we temporarily store the submitted URL in sessionStorage so the loading state can display it. This is cleared automatically when you close the tab or when the audit completes.
2.3 Cookies
We do not set any HTTP cookies. If Cloudflare sets an operational cookie for DDoS protection or bot detection (e.g. __cf_bm), that is set by Cloudflare's edge network as strictly necessary for service delivery. See the Cloudflare Cookie Policy for details.
3. Analytics
If we enable Cloudflare Web Analytics, it operates without cookies, does not use fingerprinting, and does not track individual users across sites. We will update this page and add a consent banner if we ever adopt an analytics tool that requires it.
4. How to remove what we've stored
Clearing your browser's site data for the isitlanding domain removes the session ID and the pending audit URL. In Chrome / Edge: DevTools → Application → Storage → Clear site data. In Firefox: about:preferences → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data → Manage Data.
